Casimir 'Cas' Wesley Sikora

Casimir 'Cas' Wesley Sikora, 76, passed away in his home in Palmview, Texas on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Cas was born on December 14,1947 to Ted and Diane (Bergman) Sikora.

On October 21, 1967, he married the former Lesa Mock. Surviving are his wife, Lesa Sikora; a daughter, Dawn Kistler; a son, Matthew (Jamie) Sikora; four grandchildren, Tyler Watts, Trinity Sikora, Noelle Sikora and Gwendolyn Sikora; his Uncle John (Diane) Bergman; sister in law Janet (Don) Knapp; and brother in law Gary (Suzan) Mock along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, George Sikora.

After graduating from Washington High School in South Bend, he enlisted in the Air Force serving from May 1967 to May 1971, where upon he received an Honorable Discharge. Upon his return home, he returned to IUSB and received a Masters Degree in Management and Business Administration. For some time he taught while attending school. After graduating he went to work for AM General and then Honeywell in 1988. He worked there until his retirement in 2006.

Cas enjoyed camping, fishing, golf and most of all cruising. He was a man of many talents and could fix anything. and he found great satisfaction in sharing his skills with his many friends and family.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Superior Home Health Care and Superior Hospice of McAllen, Texas, for their care and compassion during the last month of Cas's life.

There will be no funeral service as cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in Palmview, Texas on March 14, 2024.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cas's memory to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice.
