PATRICIA  A. (JOZWIAK)  PINKOWSKI

GRANGER - Patricia Ann Pinkowski, 67, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in Hospice House. Patricia was born August 4, 1940, in South Bend, to the late Emil and Cassie (Lechtanski) Jozwiak.

On June 8, 1963, as Patricia Jozwiak, she married Raymond Pinkowski in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Raymond survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Laura (Rodney) Sherman of South Bend; a son, Robert (Jennifer) Pinkowski of Granger; three grandchildren, Melissa Sherman, Grant Sherman and Zachary Pinkowski.

Patricia had worked for Conn-Selmer Musical Instruments in Elkhart for 30 years. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, with Rev. William C. Schooler officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, and one hour prior to the services in the church on Monday. We little knew that morning that God Was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide; And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
