SOUTH BEND - Bob passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family at his side. He battled cancer for a little over a year, but cancer won. Bob was born in South Bend, Indiana, to Joseph and Evelyn Przybylski.

He graduated from Washington High School and attended Indiana University. He retired from Consolidated Freightways at the young age of 56.

Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert R. Przybylski Jr., and his daughter, Tamela S. Przybylski.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Sandra M., and his son, Joseph Anthony (Jennifer) Przybylski II; along with seven grandchildren, Joseph Anthony (Liz) Przybylski, III, Stephanie (Matt) Przybylski, David (Lucy) Przybylski, Katelyn Przybylski, Jacob Przybylski, Benjamin Przybylski and Matt Przybylski; five great-grandchildren, Julianna, Ashley, Michelle, Jolene, Bella, and one on the way. Also surviving are three sisters, Charlotte Garrison, Sherrie (Pete) Dengler & Debbie (Noel) King; sister-in-law, Vickie (Victor) Budd; brother-in-law, Greg (Vicki) Matafin; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob's favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, NASCAR, and especially traveling to Tunica, Mississippi, Vegas and Biloxi. Bob's love of life besides his lovely wife are his son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the LIL ? on the way, he loved teasing all of them. Bob especially is proud of his son, Joseph II, who followed in his footsteps as he had followed in his father's footsteps. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 357. He served as the Commander twice, Service Officer, Adjutant, and lastly, Finance Officer.

There will be a visitation for friends and family in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., 11 am to 1:00 pm Friday, September 13, 2013, where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michiana Hematology Oncology, 100 Navarre Place, Suite 5550, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
