HEATHER A. NUNGESSER

SOUTH BEND - Heather A. Nungesser, 32, of South Bend, passed away at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis after suffering from a brain aneurysm. Heather was born on February 26, 1976, and had resided in the Michiana area her lifetime. She is survived by her mother, Grace A. Nungesser of South Bend, and her father, James E. Nungesser of Avon Park, FL. Also surviving are her paternal grandmother, Mildred A. Nungesser of Avon Park, FL; a sister, Megan A. (George) Hiland of Elkhart; her niece, Antonia J. Hiland; and a nephew, Brandon W. Hiland, both of Elkhart.

Heather was employed by the Kroger Grocery Chain and was presently employed at the Town & Country Kroger Store in Mishawaka. She was a very thoughtful, caring person and loved her family deeply. She thought the world of her niece and nephew. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and all who had the opportunity to know her. Heather loved all sorts of movies, computer technology, loved children, was an avid cook, and loved to bake and entertain.

She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1994.

The family request that all memorial contributions be made to Enable Now Organization, PO Box 573, Goshen, IN 46527. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 14, in Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/ Indiana 23, South Bend, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15th, at Harvest Community Church, 3524 Harrison Road, Mishawaka, with Pastor Josh Quarandillo officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Granger, IN. Friends may call in the church one hour prior to services. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy to the Nungesser family.
