Donald J. Wlodarek

Donald J. Wlodarek, 63, of South Phillipa Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, in his residence. He was born on July 20, 1941, in South Bend, to Frank and Henrietta (Waurgyniak) Wlodarek. His father, Frank, passed away on Feb. 1, 1973. Also deceased is a son, Robert A. Wlodarek, on July 26, 1971.
Surviving Donald is his mother, Henrietta Wlodarek; sons, Eric A. Wlodarek of South Bend, Chad R. Wlodarek of Muncie, Ind., and Anthony D. Wlodarek of South Bend; grandchildren, Robert, Matthew and Travis; sisters, Dolores Billisitz of South Bend and Lucille Mendlikowski of South Bend; and his dog, Muffey, his best friend.
Donald worked for Voyagers International Company in Elkhart, Ind., General Liquors in South Bend and Tom's Family Car Care. He graduated from Washington High School in 1959. He was the assistant coach 1988-89 for the St. Adalbert football team. Donald loved to fish, enjoyed trips to the Blue Chip, and was a Notre Dame fan.
Graveside services will be at St. Joseph Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. The St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
