Titus Ellington

SOUTH BEND, IN - Titus Alexander Ellington, a resident of North Adams Street, South Bend, Indiana passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Memorial Hospital.

Titus was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on March 28, 1991 to Rowland Ellington and Bonnie Jones. He graduated from Washington High School in 2010. Titus was employed by the University of Notre Dame. He was a loving son, father, and brother.

Titus leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Sabrina Ellington of South Bend and Taylor Ellington of Oklahoma; one son, Titus Ellington Jr. of Oklahoma; parents, Bonnie Jones of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Rowland (Sonya) Ellington of South Bend; five sisters, Rolonda (Mike) Olaleye of Dallas, Texas, Symphonie Ellington, Joselyn Ellington, Kenya Ellington, and Aja Ellington, all of South Bend; one stepsister, Margarete Elizabeth Anne Siler of Wausau, Wisconsin; four brothers, Rockmeyer (Chrishawn) Estes of Dallas, Texas, Aza Ellington and Marcus (Mechelle) Jones of South Bend, and Tobiaz Lizardi of Puerto Rico; two stepbrothers, Anthony Paul Phipps of Aurora, Illinois and James Robert Siler of Herber Springs, Arkansas; two grandmothers, Ladenia Cowper of Columbia, Missouri and Mamie Jones of Benton Harbor, Michigan, along with other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death was a grandfather, John Jones; two sisters, Tiffany Ellington and Tashana Pickens; one brother, Brandon Ellington; and one stepbrother, Douglas Mason Siler.

Services for Mr. Ellington will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2018 at Alford's Mortuary, where arrangements have been entrusted. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
